Dear Ann:

It was a pleasure to meet you briefly at our Annual Meeting luncheon last week. We had a great crowd and our members are always treated well when we are at your property.

I would also like to commend your staff members Rachel Johnson, John Keiser and your security department for their efforts to work with us and our special security needs on November 1st. Rarely do Minnesota Chamber events off-duty police officers and extra hotel security, but last week was an exception with planned Occupy Minnesota protests on our doorstep. Several times your staff and the officers were able to keep the protestors out of our meeting space while still allowing them to peacefully make their points outside of the hotel. There were no disruptions at any of our three meetings and many of our members were unaware that protestors were even present. This is exactly what we wanted.

Thank you for being a Minnesota Chamber member for the past 14 years ... we are looking forward to our next event at your hotel on March 14, 2012.

Re: AgriBank hosted Retirement Reception held October 27, 2011 in the "Windows on the River"

This letter comes with a great deal of "thanks and appreciation" to you and the staff of the Crowne Plaza. Once again, I was honored to work with the exceptional professionals at this hotel.

Some months ago, I contacted Colleen Rose of your Sales group trying to find a nearby space for this important event. In her most gracious style, Colleen offered Windows as a possible location. She was my main contact and worked with me to all the details were arranged. Colleen's knowledge of both the facility and the capabilities of the hotel staff enable her to quickly draw all of the elements together to help make the event a success. I have always relied on her for creative solutions in conjunction with AgriBank's business needs and she has always responded beyond all expectations.

On the evening of the event, I was delighted to learn I would be working with some of Crowne's most seasoned professional staff. Upon my arrivla, Janet, Paula, Wes, and Muhammad were fully engaged in the set up for this event. I had some last-minute changes in the room set and these requestes were incorporated within minutes. In addition, Scott and Mark were my "awesome" bartenders. Having worked with most of these individuals at other AgriBank functions, I knew my guests would be well cared for and receive the highest level of service and hospitality.

In addition, I wish to recognize those staff members that were "unseen" to me. The "kitchen magicians" provided not only delicious food, but in a beautiful presentation as well. Out guests offered many favorable comments in this regard. I also wish to recognize the "mystery" engineer(s) who quickly got control of the room temperature, to ensure the comfort of our guests. Special thanks to Jelene Drayna-Michaels who always provides "flawless" billing of our events in a timely manner.

Much appreciation goes to Jon, Scott and Brian, of Swank A/V for their help with the audio visual needs. Both Brian and Scott checked with me when I arrived and helped with last minute requests regarding the focal presentation for the evening. The results of their efforts were truly appreciated.

Lastly, I wish to recognize and "thank" John Keiser. He always works quietly in the background to ensure all of the details are taken care of. It is his attention to every facet of the function, and his personal standards which ensure the high quality of each event I've held at the Crowne. This gathering was no exception.

As the new General Manager of the Crowne Plaza, I was pleased to have the opportunity to meet you prior to this event. Thank you for taking the time to provide that personal touch.

On behalf of AgriBank and our guests, I wish to extend our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all of the staff at the Crowne Plaza who have touched this event. We are truly grateful for their efforts, care, and the gracious hospitality extended to our guests.
